I'm so tired of politics. or that's the word i can find at this very moment.
now i'm saying workplace politics. for a smb firm like ours, it's weird to even consider politics in the company, u pull a trick and people ultimately know who is the bad guy.

now i'm saying this becoz i'm sick of this. The constant complaints i get about this XXX, and my own perception of her. I'm sick that we have to work and breathe the same air as IT.

It is one of the obnoxious entity to ever walk on the lands of our planet. It might have been her kind tat rid the dinosaurs of this earth.

The Bucket List

We've been down that road, where we thought of death, where we think of dying, well, death deals with everyone of us. Sooner if not later.

We all have to learn to deal and manage things in life. Life's affairs are complicated, twisted, with its set of ironies, its sets of difficulties. No one ever said it is easy. Life was never ever meant to be easy, no one had a successful definition of life, i could do better defining the other 4 letter word when life screws u up, but not life itself definitely.

Now now, all this chat about life, death thingies ain't from anywhere, but over a dvd i managed to catch, Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman's The Bucket List.

2 strangers coming together, linked by death, yet brought together by living.

Now, i'm thinking a lot to the directions of where i worked.
I'm not the decision maker.

I implemented social media platforms, i just feel that i haven't got the time to "strategically" manage the platforms to actually grow it in a way that my marketing instincts tells me.

No one's got a clue, ok maybe some do. To market B2B on some of these platforms. As marketers, we need to be early adoptors, forward thinkers in any industry.

I'm now being seen as a tech provider rather than the strategic thinker. I'm a marketer, not a programmer, IT consultant or some sorts.

Maybe i shud just change jobs.

Tues Tec Talk

It's exciting to see the evolution of Web2.0 from Web1.0.

Truly what the web is supposed to be.

We see significant paradigm shifts.

Web1.0 was all about putting up lumps and lumps of information, greatly enhanced by the ability to search for such information, and Mankind was satisfied.

Web2.0 was putting yourself up the internet, the ability to share, (YouTube), the lust for connecting with friends (Facebook, MySpace), giving birth to the term, Social Networks (seriously social networks when it's really just online?)

Now while some may just barely caught on to the buzzword of Web2.0, we are actually seeing some traces of Web3.0. We are looking at the convergence of several social platforms into one, and how one actually aggregate information put up, into a single portal. We are looking at platforms which ties information about a user from several sources into one. If you have noticed, we are seeing more synchronization capabilities via several platforms such as blogs, twitter, facebook.

It's truly exciting for a practicing digital marketer to be in the development of all these!
